AMY MACDONALD first crossed my radar with her captivating debut single This Is The Life.

I instantly fell in love with the Scottish singer-songwriter and now she's back with a new album (A Curious Thing) and a new cover song from Bruce Springsteen. Stream the song below:

DANCING IN THE DARK (Bruce Springsteen) a hidden track in the new cd. I'm a Boss's fan and for me, this version is perfect!

Other awesome Macdonald's covers:

HALLELUJAH (Leonard Cohen) she never stops to amazed me- great rendition!

MR. BRIGHTSIDE (The Killers) a part of me has just died...

How about this punk version of her hit, THIS IS THE LIFE by FUTURE IDIOTS?...

There's no doubt in my mind that "I dont wanna miss a thing" by Aerosmith is one of the greatest song of all time. Well, Japanese singer YUNA ITO thinks so too and is taking the song under her own wing!

I am very impressed by her own style of delivering the music, from a rock song to something quite soothing and pleasant to the ear. Don’t be thinking that I’m dissing the legendary Aerosmith, they are of course GOOD! But y’all need to give credit to Yuna for making a lovely rendition of the song.

Check out her performance and appreciate her voice!

Three German singers Digger, Sam and Basti- or popularly known as THE BASEBALLS are back with the released of their new album STRIKE BACK.

Actually, this is a re-issue of their 2009 debut album STRIKE with the inclussion of new cover tracks led by the first single CHASING CARS, a 2006 hit from Snow Patrol. As usual, the guys show their skills in turning current popular songs into energetic, rock and roll 50's style.

The band had quite a bit of success in Europe and are now building up some buzz worldwide.

I'm not really into jazz music but everytime I hear KAREN SOUZA doing her own spin of some popular tunes, i cant help myself but to say, "wow!...amazing!...i want more!"
These are some of her best jazz cover renditions. Enjoy!

EVERY BREATH YOU TAKE (The Police cover) Karen has an amazing voice!...i think this is the best rendition of the song after the original.

BILLIE JEAN (Michael Jackson cover)
a duet with Jamie Lancaster. A very refreshing version of this MJ's classic hit!

ONLY THE LONELY by Chris Isaak

I only knew CHRIS ISAAK as the voice behind the 1991 hit single Wicked Game and the black and white music video that featured top supermodel Helena Christensen rolling and frolicking on the beach with Isaak. The video received a lot of spin on various music channels until the song eventually become a worldwide hit.
Below is Isaak's cover of Roy Orbison's ONLY THE LONELY...It's hard to cover a classic but Chris haunting voice is like Elvis Presley mixed with perfection. Great cover rendition and definitely Roy would be proud on this!

K'NAAN covers U2 song!

It seems so long ago when we first heard Somali born/Canadian poet-rapper-singer-songwriter K'NAAN singing his anthemic song "Wavin Flag" that catapulted him to international stardom.

Last month, IHeartRadio put him in a short music session that featured his talent and some tracks from his new album Troubador, along with this very interesting cover of STUCK IN A MOMENT which is originally sung by Irish rock band, U2. You can watch the clip below:

Here's another YouTube talent worth checking out!...A 21 year old singer-songwriter named JULIANA RICHER DAILY.

Her website and Youtube channel has a lot of great stuff particularly her amazing covers from artists such as Lady Gaga, Arcade Fire to Leonard Cohen. I tried to Wiki for some profile infos but didn't find anything. With her incredible performances below, isn't she 'notable' enough to have a Wikipedia article, so she must be famous? =)

Stream the music here:

ALMOST LOVER (A Fine Frenzy cover) she has the voice of an really moved me to tears!

TEENAGE DREAMS (Katy Perry cover) all i can say this is way better than the original!

HOTEL CALIFORNIA (The Eagles cover) epic!

HIDE AND SEEK (Imogen Heap cover)

Formerly of The Bangles, SUSANNA HOFFS covered a 1967 classic hit To Sir With Love, which is originally performed by Lulu.

By listening to this song, it makes me wonder why nobody paid much attention to her 1997 self titled album. Susanna's voice is as magical as ever, and you will find yourself drawn into its hypnotic spell. Actually, the whole album is a great listening experience.

For me, Susanna Hoffs is a Goddess!!

Justin Bieber's BABY (Jazzy cover)

I've heard a lot of cover on this Justin Bieber song done in different genre but this one really stands out.

Performed by Brighton couple Maria MacAteer (the daughter of late jazz musician/composer Al Timothy) and Bjorn Dahlberg (a trained jazz saxophone and pianist from Sweden), together they spin the track into more adult contemporary.

I really like how Maria put a jazzy feel on the song!...With that unique voice and great piano playing, the bubblegum pop just turn it into GOLD!

You can also visit Maria MacAteer on the ff. links:

FRENTE covers

Remember FRENTE?...the Australian band that charmed us with the sweet, innocent vocals of Angie Hart and their enchanting acoustic cover of New Order's Bizaare Love Triangle?

Formed in 1991, the band burst onto the Australian music scene with hit singles "Ordinary Angels" and "Accidentally Kelly Street". Their debut album Marvin The Album was a huge success not only in their native country as well as internationally. The band appeared on the soundtrack for the hit American show, Melrose Place in 1994 and recorded a track for a compilation album tribute for children cartoon shows called Saturday Morning (1995).

After releasing another album titled Shape in 1996, the band disbanded in the same year.
