FAITHFULLY by Jovit Baldivino

Out na pala sa market ang debut album ng first ever PGT Grand Champion winner na si JOVIT BALDIVINO na may pamagat na "FAITHFULLY" (under Star Records). As expected, kasama sa track list ang ilan sa mga kinanta nya during the competition gaya ng "Too much love will kill you" (by Queen) at eto ngang klasikong kanta ng The Journey.

Personally, hindi ko masyadong bet nun si Jovit na manalo sa PGT dahil ginagaya nya ang boses ni Arnel Pineda (na obvious din na ginagaya ang boses ng dating Journey's front man na si Steve Perry). Ikaw ba gusto mong manalo sa isang international franchised talent search na nagrerepresent ng ating bansa e yung walang originality?...pero talentwise, magaling din naman talagang kumanta ang bata at may charisma (?) pa sa mga tao.

Carrier single ng album ang "Faithfully" kaya naman tunay na pang-Cover Corner sya. Tsek nyo!

Another Pinoy Pride: LUIGI SENO

Basta pagdating sa kantahan, walang duda na tayong mga pinoy ay hindi pahuhuli sa larangang ito.

Sa bagong edition ng America's Got Talent, isa na namang kababayan ang nakapasa sa audition round. Siya ay walang iba kundi si LUIGI SENO, 2o taong gulang na tubong Mandaue, Cebu ngunit nag-migrate ang buong pamilya sa US noong 2001. Sa pamamagitan ng kanyang acoustic guitar ay inawit ni Seno ang sariling bersyon ng "Sunday Morning" na kinanta ng isa sa paborito kong rock band na Maroon 5. At talaga namang napahanga niya ang mga hurado na sina Sharon Osbourne (ang brouhang asawa ni Ozzy, from MTV's The Osbourne fame), Howie Mandel (Deal or No Deal host) at Piers Morgan (news editor).



Well sana lang magtuloy tuloy ang swerte ni Seno para naman madagdagan pa ng pinoy talents invasion sa international music scene. With his charm and most of all the talent, he can be the male version of Charice!...What do u think?

OH MY GABE!....

Before Charice Pempengco and Joseph Vincent hit the spot in the music scene, theirs this guy named GABE BONDOC that is equally talented like them and has a huge following in Youtube.

Bondoc is a full blooded Filipino singer- songwriter from San Mateo, California. He is known for his clever yet simple lyrics, catchy melodies, soothing voice and amazing guitar skills. He composes his own original songs as long as wonderful covers of a lot of music that is popular today.

If you love listening to slow jams ala John Mayer or just some relaxing music like Jason Mraz then you should also listen to him.

Currently, I am totally being moved by some of his cover songs. The great thing on him is that even the most up-beat songs or the ones that are considered a head-bangin' tune, when he covered it, become very soft and like melodic to the ear.

Nilaunch sa ASAP 09 last Sunday ang bagong album ni Piolo Pascual. Ito ay ang DECADES Songs from the 50'S, 60'S, 70'S released under Star records. Medyo nagulat pa ako ng malaman kong ikaanim na album na pala nya to!...I know na may mga hit singles na rin sya in the past at bumenta naman talaga ang kanyang mga records but it really surprised me na nakaraming album na pala sya.
