Neo-soul singer MACY GRAY is back in the music scene with the released of her sixth studio album COVERED. As the title suggests, the album features covers of previously released tracks by well known rock, pop, rap, and indie artists. Below is her fabulous rendition of Radiohead's classic, "CREEP".
I absolutely love everything INGRID MICHAELSON does. She’s so incredibly talented and passionate about her music. But watching this video of her covering one of my favorite song to date takes my admiration of her to another level. She plays all the instruments and keeps the integrity and purity of the song. Super love it!!
If you're a fan of "The Hunger Games" or Taylor Swift, you've likely already heard of this indie music duo THE CIVIL WARS. Composed of Joy Williams and John Paul White, they recently covered "Sour Times", a song originally performed by Postishead...This is so intense and magnetic- watching them perform together is like a religious experience!
The duo's rendition of Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean" is another favorite! Country, folk, pop - we can add Blues to that with this excellent cover!!
The Civil Wars took home two Grammy's this year winning Best Country Duo/Group Performance and Best Folk Album collaborated with Swift on the first "Hunger Games" single "Safe & Sound". Their first full length album "Barton Hollow" was released February last year. =O _________________________________________________________________________________

Electronica artist Adam Young or more popularly known as OWL CITY released a wonderful rendition of Johnny Cash's 1957 track “Home Of The Blues”...How can Adam sing anything and have it sound fantastic? He could sing the alphabet and it would still be great!!
Check out this cool cover of Gotye's "Somebody That I Used To Know"...I love how they're all playing the same guitar at the same time! WALK OFF THE EARTH simply rocks!! :D
SCOTTY MCCREERY has recorded the Season 11 American Idol exit song. He covered the Tim McGraw hit “Please Remember Me” as the “goodbye” song that will be played after a contestant is eliminated and video highlights of the contestant’s experiences on Idol are shown. You can listen to the song below:
Here is SUZANNE VEGA performing The Who's 1971 classic hit "Behind Blue Eyes".
Suzanne handles this very well. She really adds a nice fast folk sensibility to the song while maintaining it's chilling effect. ____________________________________________________________________
