A little bit of LAURA LOVE
This is LAURA LOVE, a Seattle based musician with an astonishing voice who is greatly influenced by blues and bluegrass, jazz, folk, gospel and country. Her music is often labeled as Afro-Celtic or folk-funk.
After the 1997 released of her debut album under her own label Octoroon Biography, Love became one of the folk scene's brightest stars. She released two more albums followed by a compilation of her songs under Putumayo. She also published an autobiography, You Ain't Got No Easter Clothes, with an accompanying album of the same name, in 2004.
Below is her amazing rendition of Nirvana's hit, Come As You Are...Watch!
